CROWBAR GOLD AWARD 2016 FOR FASHION & PORTRAITURE Ambivalence; A study and interpretation of how renowned contemporary renaissance painters, such as Caravaggio, Botticelli, Giorgione, and Vermeer, portrayed the many subjects and objects within their painting. Using fashion photography as a medium to explore how every element interacts, complimentary and contradictory natures are intertwined to create an intentional visual paradox, challenging viewers to find the subversive message of each piece.
